We broke ground on Nov 11th 2024 for our 31st home in Russells Point for a lady who lost her home due to the tornado.

This is just some of the many houses built by Habitat for Humanity of Logan County.

Once a partner family has been chosen and accepted into our Family Partnership Program, they start earning their opportunity to work towards owning their own home. During this time they are putting in the required sweat equity hours, taking credit counseling classes,, and home ownership classes, while working along side of a Construction mgr. and other volunteers who help to build their home. They might participated in framing, siding, carpentry, painting, or landscaping. If health or other issues doesn't allow for working on the home, hours can be put in at the Restore. All occupants who will be living in the house over the age of 18 must put in sweat equity hours.
